Latrice Crawford is a visionary author, entrepreneur, and community leader committed
to empowering individuals through healing, self-expression, and purpose. As the
owner of The Opportunity Growth Center, she provides life-changing programs that
focus on emotional wellness, coping skills, and personal development for both youth
and adults in her community.

In 2025, Latrice released her powerful debut book, *Saved by Grace: A Journey of
Survival, Healing, and Forgiveness*, on April 20 — her 50th birthday — marking a
milestone of triumph and transformation. Through her deeply personal story, she
offers hope to others who are navigating pain, recovery, and restoration.
 

Latrice is also the founder of Set It Off Salon, a space that merges beauty, wellness,
and empowerment. Her passion for youth development led her to create Talking
About It With Arts, a unique workshop for youth ages 12–17. This creative initiative
uses epoxy projects like cup-making, tables, and artwork to help participants express
emotions while addressing topics such as bullying, peer pressure, anxiety, and
loneliness.
 

She also leads a vibrant summer program for 75 children ages 7–14, providing
structured activities in reading, photography, journaling, and emotional education. The
program supports children holistically, ensuring they are emotionally nurtured and
physically fed with breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
 

Recognizing the power of storytelling and shared experiences, Latrice expanded her
work with Let’s Talk About It, a dynamic event series for both women and men.
These events create healing spaces for people to open up about real-life issues such
as relationships, trauma, mental health, and identity. By fostering open conversations,
she offers a platform for transparency, connection, and healing.
 

In addition to her community programs, Latrice is a creative artisan. She handcrafts
unique bracelets, shea butter, natural deodorants, and custom fashion pieces, offering
a blend of beauty, culture, and purpose through her handmade products.
 

Her compassion also extends to those most in need. Through her heartfelt initiative,
Giving in Love, she faithfully feeds the homeless, providing meals, encouragement,
and dignity to individuals experiencing hardship.
 

Above all, Latrice is a devoted child of God Yah, a proud mother to her beloved son,
and a grandmother to her cherished grandson. She openly shares her spiritual
journey as a testimony, using her life and voice to lead others toward righteousness,
